Product Review–Sequin Ballerina Flowers from Pampered Princess Pretties

 

I did a product review on these flowers back in November 2012 but those were not the only colors they came in Megan from Pampered Princess Pretties since got a few new colors in these Sequin Ballerina Flowers. and are approx. 2 1/2” – 2 3/4” in Dia. Here are the new colors.  These were the samples I received.  I added the rhinestone button in the middle for a little bling they do not come with the buttons.

Product Review–Blossom Flowers from Pampered Princess Pretties

The material used on these is a thin shear and is really light and nice not to bulky or heavy. 

By the way if you have not been to Pampered Princess Pretties lately they have a whole new look.  Their new website is beautiful!

The first two pictures are the flowers Megan sent me.  They do not come with anything on them but I added my own rhinestone buttons on them to dress them up. 

Here are a few samples of the ways you can use these flowers. These pictures were provided to me from Megan.  I will add a few more samples on my 8 year old daughter later today so you can see them on a older child too.

Product Review– Shabby Flowers, Rhinestone Buttons and Felt Circles from Pampered Princess Pretties

Pampered Princess Pretties now stocks an assortment of Rhinestone Buttons.  Here are a few samples and sizes of these buttons. I love the different colors in these buttons and they look so good on bows, headbands:

Here are two 2 1/2” shabby flowers with the two different size buttons to get a feel on this sizes of these buttons the first one is the larger 24mm button and the one on the left is a 13mm button.

Megan just got these new Shabby Flowers in.  I love the new multi colored flowers.  These are all 2 1/2” flowers. 

Ever wonder where you can purchase felt circles.  Pampered Princess Pretties has them in a little over 2” dia.  These are perfect for the shabby flowers.  I just take my glue gun and spread out the glue on them and take my shabby flower and pull out a little and set it on the felt and you are done.

Here is one of the felt circles on the back of a shabby flower.  It does cover the whole back of them. 

Product Review– Victoria Flowers from Pampered Princess Pretties

Pampered Princess Pretties now carries these Chiffon and Lace Flower called “Victoria Flowers”  They come in two different sizes 3” and 5”.  I love that they have felt already attached to the backside of these flower.  All you need it to glue a clip on the backside and you are done.

Product Review–Glitter FOE (Folded Over Elastic) Headbands from Pampered Princess Pretties

Megan from Pampered Princess Pretties sent me some samples of her Glitter FOE (Fold Over Elastic).  Most of the time these are used to make headbands.  I have listed below the length of what the standard cut would be for ages.  The can vary a little depending on the size of infant, child, adults head. 

Newborn - 12 1/2"

6-12 months - 15"

1-5 years old - 16"

6 years old - Adult - 18"

Product Review ~ Supply Diva’s Wholesale ~ Rhinestone Buttons

I often get emails asking where I purchase my buttons for my bows so today I am so excited to introduce one of our “NEW” Advertisers.  You do not know how happy I was to get this package in the mail.  My daughter and I drooled over these buttons and never moved them from the family room table for a few days they were so pretty to look at. 

You will have to check Jennifer from Supply Diva’s Wholesale out she has a lot to choose from and awesome prices on these buttons.  These buttons are plastic and have a shank on the back but if you get some side cutter pliers they will snip off really easy.  I use these buttons type of buttons for all of my bows now.  I will be back when I get some time to show you what I have done with these buttons but wanted to show you my new BLING.

These buttons are in different sizes there are some larger – first top pictures (25mm) and smaller ones – bottom right picture (15mm).  They range from .45 ea to .70 ea.  This is a great deal!

Product Review ~ Pampered Princess Pretties ~ Chiffon Bows

I have been so excited to show you these chiffon bows that Pampered Princess Pretties is selling.  These bows are the cutest!  They come in two different sizes.  The large bow measures approx. 4.2” x 2.2”.  The smaller bow measures approx. 2.4” x 1.5”.  Click Here to see/purchase these bows. 

I made some of my chiffon bows up to show you some different things you can do with them.  I added “Bling” to them they do not come this way but you can add what ever centers to these that you want.

Here are some of the colors that Pampered Princess Pretties offers:

Larger chiffon bows.

Smaller chiffon bows.  I made two of each since I like to use two smaller bows at a time in my daughters hair. 

These are the rest of the colors with out rhinestone buttons (bling) on them.  They look great either way it is up to you to decorate them or not.

This is what I did with the bows on the back side.  They will come with some mesh on the back that will need to be trimmed. I traced around one of the large bows and one of smaller bows with a piece of paper making a template then cut it a little smaller that the original size so it would fit better with out going over the bow.  I did have to trim each bow since all of them were a little different. I then took a piece of felt and used my templates to cut out backings for each of these bows and hot glued them on the back of the bows to make them a little more stiff and to have something to attach my clips to.

This is the back with some covered hair clips.  They are hot glued on the back.  I used two of them for the larger bow to clip on headbands.  I like to be able to reuse my headbands so I never glue bows to headbands.
